Various guest speakers will lead the workshops, scheduled for February 28, March 21, April 4 and May 16. They will all be held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Valencia Library, 23743 W. Valencia Blvd. They are free to attend.
The Theme for the 2009 series is LifeForward: Believe, Build, Be: Believe in your unlimited power and potential; Build the skills necessary to succeed; Be the powerful woman you are meant to be!
The topics are:
February - Economics: Gain mastery of self-sustaining money management skills, budgeting, and understanding credit scores and how to improve or repair them.
March - Communication Skills and Relationships: Enhance interpersonal relationship skills at home and at work
April - Health: Covers a multitude of tips for nutrition, wellness, and fitness for maximum vitality.
May - Employment: Learn about transferable skills, interviewing skills, resume preparation, and local resources for job search.
