All-Star Champions Canyon Country Team Takes Top Spot

Last month, the Canyon Country Little League Senior Baseball All-Stars became the California District 40 Champions by defeating San Fernando 9-8. The come-from-behind victory became a reality with four runs scored in the bottom of the 6th inning and the final two runs scoring with two outs in the bottom of the 7th thanks to singles by Daniel Rodriguez and Joe Garrett. District 40 encompasses much of the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and Frazier Mountain. 

Canyon Country Little League serves Canyon Country and the surrounding communities with youth baseball and softball for all kids ages 4-16. For more information about this baseball program, visit www.ccll.org.
