The City of Santa Clarita launched the Transit Access Pass (TAP) program this year, which is Los Angeles County’s new, cash-free system for transit fare payment. The pre-loaded card allows riders to pay transit fees, eliminating the need to carry exact change.

You can purchase or reload your TAP card at the City of Santa Clarita City Hall, first floor cashier, 23920 Valencia Blvd., and at the City of Santa Clarita Transit Maintenance Facility, 28250 Constellation Road. Now a third location has been added: Saugus Drugs & Hallmark, 27641 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus. All three locations accept cash or checks, but City Hall will also accept a credit card for purchase of a TAP card.

For more information on TAP, contact Brendie Heter, administrative analyst for the City’s Transit Division, at (661) 295-6304 or visit santa-clarita.com.
